The Poor Persecuted Evangelicals

REMEMBER... In a world, a time, not so long ago, Jews were exterminated...Now, across the world Evangelical Christians are being persecuted and butchered. Places like the Sudan, Myanmar, Belarus, and China to name just a few. We sleep under the veil of protection from this cruelty. But the veil is slowly being lifted. As our nation swings to pure socialism directed by the great Marxist Messiah himself, the constitution is slowly being made irrelevant. In this trillion dollar bailout there are restrictions in the legislation that no religious function or organization will receive any of it. How many great faith based charities will be affected? We have our monuments, our clever wristbands reminding us of WWJD or Thrive from Lance Armstrong yet we are blind to what is going on around us. As a nation our young people has chosen a generational drug called ignorance. Their myspace world as influenced their desire to be good world citizens at the price of American sovereignty. The baby boomers after having their 401-K's wiped out are angry but at who...since it was their fellow rich boomers that cleaned their clocks and stole the future of the US. Then there is me. My generation of X'ers, slackers, BIG talkers. We stink of materialism so bad that many of us will push to be in front of the line to take the Mark of the Beast, just so that we don't miss a meal. We stand for nothing and are scared of everything. We would soon just use 2 band aids on a paper cut then to mend the wounds from protesting a crazed Denver policeman. Side Bar: Don't protest here in Denver, they have a cozy FEMA detention center downtown in one of the warehouse buildings. But as long as you love OBAMA you will be fine...

So many Christians here in the United States are essentially divided into groups. The knowledgeable Sunday morning Christians who abide by the laws and try to be a good Christian every day. Has there been a change in their behavior and the experience of salvation? Or have they been a part of a legalistic upbringing full of structure and rules that is void of Love. Is this true Christianity? Then there is the Christian who lives for Jesus, who in his or her heart loves Him and whose life changed after receiving the gift of salvation. Free from the bondage of sin and free in spirit; a very happy day indeed. Which is correct or is both. Neither group wants to suffer but is one prepared better than the other? Are we counting on the rapture. Will the Christians here in the United States suffer like the rest of the world. Or will be driving in our nice cars from our nice shopping malls with our nice brand name clothing when we hear the rooster crow over the radio. Brothers and sisters, LISTEN, there are those Christian brothers and sisters hurting NOW, be happy you had a period where God has blessed you. But the time has begun where there are many who need you, your blessings to help with their need. Show the world the love of Christ. You will be hated for it by your neighbor but store up your treasures in Heaven and not here on earth. The bible tells us that rust and moth will decay what we value on earth. Love people not things!

Soon...the government, and yes a one world government will ask for our loyalty. Caesar will want it all. Choose Christ or your current quiet lifestyle. Choose Christ or your friends and family. Choose Jesus or the lives of those who are precious and those you love.

Those brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, moms and dads who don't know Jesus. Time is running out...DO SOMETHING! what can be more important then to pray for them and tell them about the saving grace of Jesus Christ!!
